Tip of the Month - There's no better way for jobseekers to prepare for an interview then practicing with a live coach on JobNow.  Written transcripts of the interview can be saved.  Sessions are available between 3 and 11 pm, 7 days a week.  No appointment necessary.

Genealogy Databases

Heritage Quest Online - Access through iCONN, Heritage Quest allows searching of the U.S. Federal Census images, Revolutionary War records, Freedman's Bank, and information on people and places from family and local histories.

American Ancestors - This database may be only accessed from the library (Mary Cheney only).  New England Historical Genealogical Society.  Searches over 90 million names in 2,000 databases, covering New England and parts of New York and eastern Canada.

Ancestry.com - This database may be only accessed from the library (Mary Cheney only).  Ancestry Library Edition:  User-friendly search tools and comprehesive indexing provides access to more than one-billion names, 3,000+ databases, federal, state and city censuses, and primary-source documents.
